Program Overview School hours: 8:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., Monday – Friday Ages admitted: 2 – 5 years Afternoon snack provided by school Lunches provided by parents Informal uniform required Curriculum Overview Fairview Country Day School provides a developmentally and age appropriate curriculum for preschool children. The staff takes a multisensory approach to teaching by engaging a young child's visual, auditory, and kinesthetic channels of learning; the students are encouraged to discover and learn using their senses. The classroom environment is structured yet presented in a loving and nurturing manner. Learning occurs in the individual child's pursuit of centers which include Montessori manipulatives, as well as direct teaching from an experienced, educated teacher.
